Search finds any word in any note. Give notes a colour or a tag, and pin the ones you use most to the top.
Save things from the web
Select text on any page, right-click, and choose Save selection to Notepad. The note keeps a link back to the page.
Never lose a note
Deleted notes wait 30 days in the trash. Every note keeps its recent versions. A backup follows your Chrome profile to your other computers.

One button opens the formatting bar, and it stays open until you close it. Type - for a bullet or [] for a tick-box, no button needed.
It is built for anyone — the text can be made larger for tired eyes, everything works from the keyboard, and the whole panel meets the contrast guidelines for readability.
Private by design
- Your notes stay on your device. There is no account, no sign-in and no server.
- No analytics, no tracking, no adverts.
- The one thing that leaves your computer is the backup, and it travels through Chrome’s own sync — Google’s, not ours — and only if you have Chrome sync turned on.
- The extension cannot read the pages you visit. It only receives the text you choose to save by right-clicking.
